Associate Minister for Young Families
Greenfield Church of Christ is seeking an enthusiastic and Christ-focused man to serve as Associate Minister with a focus on our young families and children. We are a congregation of around 100 in a rapidly growing community of young families looking to invest in the next generation of disciples and reach beyond the walls of our building to share the news about Jesus.

Job Description and Duties
Assist with Preaching and Teaching

Teach Bible classes, especially those for young adults and teens.

Oversee curriculum and teaching for children.

Lead individual Bible studies with students and families.

Fill in as pulpit minister periodically.

Lead a Christ-Glorifying Youth Outreach

Organize regular activities for kindergarten through 12th grade.

Lead the congregation in efforts to serve our community.

Seek opportunities to share the gospel.

Assist with local outreach and evangelistic programs.

Minister to Members

Work closely with the elders and pulpit minister to provide visitation, especially for young families.

Support students in extracurricular activities (when possible).

Administrative Work

Coordinate volunteers and teachers especially for youth activities.

Share administrative tasks with the pulpit minister and volunteers.

Other Expectations
Formal Bible education and ministry experience would be ideal, but our principal requirement for an associate minister is zeal for the Lord, a godly character, and a fervent desire to share the news about Jesus in our community.

Compensation
This is intended as a part-time position requiring 25 hours a week. Experience and education will be considered for salary and benefits.
